Our Intention with Living Your Truth retreat is to promote communion, connection and compassion. For the individual self, and in the communities we serve. We believe as we tune into the self for discovery and awareness, it translates externally to the world.

More About Our Traveling & Customized Wellness Retreat and Workshops

Together we will playfully explore through yoga, belly dancing, chakra & energy discussions, heart to heart talks and more. You will leave with joy in your heart, a feeling of freedom that keeps you grounded, and a new found clarity for the present moment.

Currently, our next workshop will be held in Corpus Christi, Texas, on December 2, 2023. The workshop will last from 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM. A total of 210 minutes with experts in the field of Kinesiology & Human Physiology.

Andrea C. Gilson is a multidisciplinary artist based in Katy, Texas with experience in painting, education, and human movement science. Andrea was born in Caracas, Venezuela and immigrated to the United States with her mom, dad, and younger brother when she was 8 years old. Creativity has been a constant method for Andrea to study her perception of past experiences. From becoming a professional flamenco & bellydancer, to earning a masters degree in biomechanics, and eventually entering the accessory art world; she has utilized her methods of self-expression to invoke excitement in others to explore their realities.

Andrea received her Master of Science in Kinesiology - Biomechanics from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. During her time there, she used painting and dance as a therapeutic exercise and learned the power of daily practice. She involved herself as a digital creator and creative director alongside the completion of her thesis in plantar health. Andrea learned to manage the complete design process from a researched perspective and yearned to practice both science, art, and dance simultaneously.

Upon graduating she moved back to her home city, Katy, to begin a project with her woodworking grandfather in 2018. Before his passing, they built a pet portrait business which began as My Dog Chipi. Now called Arte de Ea, she has expanded her brand into acrylic paintings, murals, digital storytelling, lucite jewelry design, dance classes, and live online philanthropy events. Andrea has exhibited artworks throughout Texas, danced around the world, presented research at conferences, and continues to give back to the community that helped her emerge as an artist.

Kaeli I. Hernandez, born in Honolulu, Hawaii grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. Movement specialist, yoga guide, energy practitioner, friend, sister, daughter and dog mom. First introduced to yoga in 2013 while obtaining a B.S. degree at The University of Texas at Austin in Health and Kinesiology. Her consistent yoga practice led to alleviation of chronic low back pain from an injury, and peace of mind from high stress living. Kaeli’s love for learning and natural curiosity of the human body propelled her to dive deeper into her education. She completed her 200 Hr and 500 Hr Yoga alliance training with Michelle Acebo & Gretchen Weber in December of 2017, and January of 2019. Simultaneously, she graduated from TAMUCC receiving her Masters in Kinesiology. During this time, Kaeli was introduced to reiki, a form of energy healing, and became a certified practitioner through Karen Wilson Healing LLC. Kaeli feels her experiences with eastern and western study have guided her career to come full circle by providing her with the knowledge and experience to address and communicate with her body as a whole.

Since 2018, Kaeli has been in business for herself, and currently is co-owner of Sacred Sisters Wellness. She continues to teach yoga classes in the community, and currently offers online, in person, individualized, and small group sessions with the skills she has gained over the years. This includes rehabilitative movement, yoga asana, breathwork, meditation, reiki, intuitive energy work, nervous system regulation practices, emotional education and lifestyle/relationship education. It is her mission to assist others in re-establishing the connection to their bodies.

 

Her guided teachings and offerings are sacred spaces that cultivate harmony, loving awareness, playfulness, and joyful living. Kaeli holds much gratitude and appreciation for her parents, brother, and all her teachers. She honors her practices and lineages when teaching as she feels her purpose in life is to share these sacred practices and be of service to God and her community.

 

Some of her interests are ayurvedic & plant-based cooking, painting, gardening, dancing, and singing. Kaeli is first and foremost a student of life and continuously self-studies yoga asana, spiritual health, ayurveda, curanderismo, herbalism, and physical and subtle body anatomy. She believes we are here to enjoy the journey, and in the words of Ram Das “we are all walking each other home”.
